Hi
Can anyone tell me, for how long can I store the cDNA without any loss in the stability? can it be stored more than a year?
Thanks a lot in advance

I assume you meant cDNA for realtime PCR. At -20 or -80 in DNAse free solution without freeze thaw cycles, cDNA is stable for several years. I have used samples after 7 years at -20 and have seen reproducible results in qPCR assays. cDNAs in plasmids are stable at -20 for decades.
Thank you @Param350 for the reply
Harman its advisable to store the samples in aliquots. This will minimize the freeze Thaw cycles and as a result, it will increase the stability cycle of your samples.
Its advisable to store the cDNA AT -80C rather than -20C. There is a classical paper where authors have checked maintenence of DNA & RNA samples and figured that between 4 to -20C, there is no drastic change in degration activity, but it sharply drops between 40C to -80C. Authors also advice to snap freeze if one has to maintain it for long tenure.
