When growing GlutaNeurons I include Laminin in media for plating cells. Should Laminin be included in growth media throughout the life of culture?

HI Greg Welcome to Scientist Solutions. You dont need to keep the Laminin in the growth medium long-term. As far as Glutaneurons are concerned, laminin is typically used only during plating to promote attachment and early neurite outgrowth. Use Concentration about 5µg/mL. Culture the cells in the medium containing laminin and then Switch to regular maintenance/growth media without laminin.
Hope this helps out.

Thank you. That is what I usually do, but I just wanted to confirm.

Hi Greg
What is the usual density that you harvest them at for your experiments? Are you working with a disease model like Alzheimers or Memory / Triggers or Neuro-toxicity models?
