Determination of cellular response

Hi, I am working on the use of immunofusions for cancer therapy, i.e. targeting an immune response at the tumor site. Are there any good antibodies to determine what is the cellular infiltrate (NK, T-cells) for a mouse model? (Hopefully rat monoclonals).

Mouse NK cell markers

For strains that express NK1.1 (like C57BL/6): Use the monoclonal antibody PK136.

For strains that do not express NK1.1 (like BALB/c): Use the monoclonal antibody DX5.

For a pan-NK cell marker: Use NKp46, which is expressed across many mammalian species, although its use in conjunction with other markers is strain-dependent.

Mouse T-cell markers

For all T-cells: Use the pan-T-cell marker CD3.

For helper T-cells: Use CD4.

For cytotoxic T-cells: Use CD8.

To distinguish NKT cells: A combination of Vα24 and CD3 can be used, along with CD4 and CD8 staining to exclude other T-cell subsets.
