Can Ayurvedic medicine be used alongside conventional medicine?
For most medicines, yes you can use Ayurvedic medicines along with allopathy. But then I have a doubt, suppose you use both an you get treated too, credit shall be given to?
Thanks for replying @Suhasini. Thats an interesting dilemma. Probably a placebo Vs allopathic Vs Ayurvedic Vs Allopathic + Ayurvedic sample study be able to provide insights, but I am not aware if any such studies have been conducted.
Thanks @HarmanAulakh . Even I think such studies have been done. There is no need to do so in my opinion. Here, I will tell you an incident. Some two years ago I had developed a big boil on my groin and the suggestion was that I must undergo surgery to get it removed. Then I went to consult an Ayurvedic doctor nearby (this I normally do) and he gave me an oil (a combination of two oils) and it had to be applied twice. After two days it had vanished completely. Not even the scar was there. So for some people, who do not take many allopathic medicines and do not take much of non veg, I believe, ayurveda works better. Again my observation. I prefer Ayurveda for anything, allopathy causes a lot of side effects in me. My Observation of myself.
