Jenifer Doudna & Emmanuelle Charpentier should be there on that list for sure.

Matt Porteus should be there too. He demonstrated precise gene editing in human cells using chimeric nucleases even before CRISPR.

Adam J. Bogdanove should be added here as well he is known for discovering how TAL effectors work and using them to make TALEN tools & which help scientists edit plant genes more accurately.
