# Ignition Problem in X Series 2 ICPMS

Hello, Need Help!! I’m new in ICPMS - X Series 2 Thermoscientific and currently having problem with the ignition of plasma. I have been using the machine for 2 years (not continuously) but lately ignition is failing when I’m turning the machine in operate mode. I have replaced the torch and its parts but seems it’s not working. I’m not familiar with the parameter except for Forward Power, is there any parameter in the software that I can play or anything that I can do in the torch box area to solve the ignition problem?

I’m hoping i could get help!
